Our hotel is located in the heart of the city center. The easiest way to reach us by subway is via Lorenzkirche station. From there it is only a 2-minute walk. But you can also walk to us from the main station in 5 minutes.
As our hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian zone, we do not have our own parking spaces. However, we cooperate with the “Katharinenhof” parking garage. Guests can park there at reduced rates.

We have 12 rooms and 41 apartments in 4 different categories in our hotel. These are located in the historic building on 4 floors.
We guarantee the rooms and apartments from 15.00 on the day of arrival. Check-out must take place by 11.00 am. We are of course happy to consider individual requests for early arrivals or late departures. You are also welcome to leave your luggage with us. Personal check-in is possible until 8 p.m., after which you can check in via our key box.
Our reception is staffed daily from 06:30 to 20:00. After 8 p.m., however, you can still open the entrance door yourself with your room card. Check-in is also possible outside our opening hours. Please always inform us in advance of a late arrival so that we can send you all the important information for independent check-in on the day of your arrival. Yes, the Melter Hotel & Apartments is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Ashtrays are available in the outdoor area
Depending on the rate booked, breakfast may or may not be included in the price. Please check this when you make your reservation. Of course, you can also book breakfast here on site on a daily basis. Please note that if you have booked a rate including breakfast, it cannot be canceled.
Our Melter Hotel breakfast in our partner restaurant Monki is only offered to our Melter guests. Depending on availability, however, it is of course possible for our guests to be accompanied by external persons.

We recommend the drinks and cocktails in the Monki Restaurant, right next to the hotel. Alternatively, we also offer chilled drinks at reception until 8pm.
No, our serviced apartments offer cleaning but no room service. However, you can take food and drinks from the Monki to your room/apartment. We will be happy to clear up after cleaning.
Each of our 41 apartments in our house is equipped with a fridge. During opening hours, you can buy drinks at our reception or get them at Monki.
We have a total of 4 different categories. The rooms are equipped with parquet real wood flooring (suitable for allergy sufferers), air conditioning, multi-channel flat-screen TV, as well as free WiFi and a safe. All bathrooms have a rain shower, hairdryer and care products from the traditional Nuremberg brand Retterspitz.
Yes, we offer 41 apartments in various categories with fully equipped kitchenettes. You’ll find everything you need there. Hob, fridge, Nespresso coffee machines and hot water preparation, pots, cutlery, chopping board, cooking utensils but also a pasta strainer and salt and pepper.
The Melter is perfect for a vacation with the whole family. In our spacious apartments with kitchenette, you can feel at home. Depending on the age of your child, you can either book a spacious room with a sofa bed or order an extra baby bed.
Yes, we also have a few rooms with connecting doors. We will be happy to check whether these are available for your period. Just let us know when you make your reservation.

A washing machine and dryer are available in the Melter on the 1st floor free of charge. You will also find an iron, ironing board and, of course, washing powder.

This depends on the rate booked. Here we offer rates without a cancellation period or with a free cancellation (up to 1 day before arrival 6 pm). However, depending on the time of booking, the cancellation periods can also be longer, please check this when making your booking or in your booking confirmation.

For our non-cancellable HotDeal rate, an advance payment of the total amount is due on the day of booking. You can pay for a stay with our flexible rate during your time at the Melter. A credit card is still required as a guarantee.

Of course. We will store your luggage while you are still on the road. Simply leave your luggage with us at reception. These must be collected by 20.00 in the evening
Our hotel is located in the middle of Nuremberg’s pedestrian zone. It is only possible to drive directly to the hotel for loading and unloading between 6:30 pm and 10:30 am.
We recommend taking the subway to the trade fair. The Lorenzkirche station is only 3 minutes away from our hotel and the U1 underground line runs regularly and takes just 10 minutes directly to the exhibition center.
